Welcome! I write children's stories, and created this website with the hope I'll be able to connect with other children's authors, agents and publishers. In my BLOGS, I express the joys and frustrations of writing, and the ups and downs of finding an agent or publisher. All the hard work and dedication to my writing is worth it, if my words can make a child smile, laugh, or think about his or her world in a different way.

Exciting news! My picture book, COWS CAN'T BE CLOWNS, has a September 3, 2024 release date. Publisher: Harbor Lane Books/EverImagine Books.
Synopsis: Bella wants to be a clown,but she's a cow! Rooster, Pig, and Horse laugh when Bella tells them her dream, so she sneaks away to join the circus. Bella proves to the clowns she is moo-larious, and they welcome her into their act. As the star of the show, Bella should be happy, but she misses her friends on the farm. Will she choose circus stardom, or her farm animal friends?

My picture book story about dementia, THE MEMORY JAR, illustrated by Victoria Marble, is availble for purchase. (Roan & Weatherford Publishing/Young Dragons, April 11, 2023).
Synopsis: Amelia's grammy has dementia. She’s forgotten the special events and people in her life, even Amelia. To jog Grammy’s memories, Amelia writes in a notebook all the stories Grammy told her over the years. She cuts out each story and places the papers in a jar. She hopes when Grammy reads the notes from the jar, she will remember the events, and perhaps remember her.
